A Day in the Life: Core Studios Videographer

Hey!! Come with me on a day in my life as a videographer at Core Studios. I might be biased, but every day is so different from the last, and I love that!

Ready? Alright, let's go!

Today started with a property video shoot with Jack and Jacob, the double Js. I love filming with them. It's always a lot of fun brainstorming ideas to make each reel different from the previous one. (Spoiler alert: Jacob ends up doing his piece to camera in the bathtub.)

Sometimes we lose a bit of time laughing a little too much, but that's part of the job, I guess! (Jack wanted me to fly the drone inside the house. That's the moment I had to tell him that not every idea can come to life.)

Once the pieces to camera are done, it's time to shoot some B-roll of the agents and the property to bring the video together. I'm always trying to reinvent myself and get the most creative shots I can. It obviously depends on the property, it's always easier to film a really good-looking house or apartment. (Real cheat code: when the property speaks for itself.)

Back to the office for my first coffee of the day. (I'm French, so if you see me drinking four coffees a day, don't be surprised, this is done by a professional.)

Energy back to full, it's off to my next shoot: a penthouse in the CBD.

Second shoot of the day, filming another property reel for Instagram with Chrissie. Not gonna lie, this apartment was amazing. It's so cool to end up in properties like this one. (Taking inspiration for the mansion I'm going to build in Vaucluse - you're all invited.)

Then back to the office for my last shoot of the day, where I filmed and directed an ad for Core!

Wait, what's going on here? What's the concept? We have Leyla, who plays a psychologist giving advice to a client (hey Juri) who is completely lost with his marketing strategy... Appointments are open if you find yourself in the same situation. We've got you!

Shoot's done and it's getting late, time flies when you're having fun! We pack everything up and head to the sushi train with the team to celebrate a shoot that wasn't easy on paper but turned out extremely well.
